The Rotary Club of Tallahassee Celebrates the Groundbreaking of the Journeys Exhibit Building

This month marked an incredible milestone for the Rotary Club of Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Museum, and our community as we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Journeys exhibit building!

This state-of-the-art facility will house priceless artifacts in a climate-controlled environment, ensuring Tallahassee’s rich history is preserved for generations. Once completed, the Journeys exhibit will be more than just a collection—it will be a vibrant storytelling hub that connects visitors to the people, places, and cultures that have shaped Tallahassee’s past and continue to influence its future.

Preserving History for Future Generations

The Journeys exhibit will safeguard historical treasures while creating a space to share Tallahassee’s unique story. From honoring the region’s Indigenous roots to celebrating contributions from diverse communities, Journeys will provide an inclusive look at the city’s heritage. Visitors will gain deeper insights into how our community evolved into the dynamic and vibrant place we know today.

Rotary's Role in Supporting Our Community

The Rotary Club of Tallahassee is proud to contribute to this exciting project. Our club's mission has always been to serve the community and support initiatives that make a lasting impact. Partnering with the Tallahassee Museum on the Journeys exhibit is a testament to our commitment to education, preservation, and community enrichment.

A Look Ahead

As construction begins, we look forward to seeing this vision come to life. The Journeys exhibit will be a cornerstone of the Tallahassee Museum, providing an immersive experience that inspires pride and curiosity in all who visit.

We’re grateful to all who have made this project possible and can’t wait to see the doors open to this remarkable new space. Thank you for supporting this endeavor, and stay tuned for updates as Journeys progresses!
